With Global Student-Athlete (GSA), you can take intensive sports training programmes while you study abroad at Massey.
The programmes are designed for experienced athletes, and are tailored to you and your goals. They're designed to fit round your study and they run during the university semester, so you'll have plenty of time to see New Zealand Aotearoa in the breaks.
Massey has been named New Zealand’s first 'athlete friendly' university because of the support and facilities we offer student athletes. You'll be based on our Manawatū campus in Palmerston North, where you'll train and play with the elite sportspeople of the Manawatū region and international New Zealand athletes.
You'll get everything you need to succeed – from one-on-one coaching and mentoring to world-class training facilities. All GSA members will also receive entry into the Massey University Academy of Sport Bronze level which provides access to the Academy of Sport online resource hub and academic planning assistance and advice if required.
