About the study
The aim of the pregnancy supplement study was to investigate dietary supplements taken by New Zealand women across three stages:
- before getting pregnant
- during the three trimesters of pregnancy
- soon after giving birth.
The study has now ended.
Inclusion criteria
Participants in the study needed to:
- be women aged 18+
- live in New Zealand
- be in the later stages of pregnancy or have given birth within the last three months
- not have used assisted reproductive technologies (such as in-vitro fertilisation) to become pregnant
- be proficient in English and able to complete the survey online.
