English language and professional tests

Te Tumu Whakatipu works with leading providers of international and occupational English language and professional testing.

International English Language Testing System (IELTS)

The test is designed to help you achieve the score you need to succeed in your immigration application, professional registration or for university entrance.

Occupational English Test (OET)

OET is an international English language test to assess the language and communication skills of healthcare professionals seeking to register and practice in an English-speaking environment.

Pearson Test of English Academic at Massey

Take the Pearson Test of English (PTE) Academic to prove your English ability for all New Zealand students and migration visa applications.

Pearson VUE

Pearson VUE can be used for professional licencing and certification across the finance, IT, medical, engineering, human resources and telecommunications industries.

Student study tours

We organise study tours in New Zealand for university or high school groups looking for an overseas experience.

These can include academic studies combined with:

  • English language
  • project work
  • field trips
  • cultural or sporting activities
  • a New Zealand homestay experience.

Student groups who take part will study in classes specially designed around their needs.

With Accelerate+ students studying in year 12 or year 13 can complete university-level courses while at school.
