Making appointments

To see a doctor or nurse at your campus Student Health and Counselling Centre, you need to call to make an appointment.

Our appointments last for 15 minutes. If you feel your visit may take longer, we recommend you book a double appointment.

Sometimes you may be able to have a consultation with your doctor over the phone or by video call. You need to discuss this when you call to make the appointment.

Cancelling appointments

If you can't get to your appointment, please let us know at least two hours before your appointment time. You can do this by email or phone. If you don't let us know in advance, you will be charged a $15 fee.

After-hours care contact details

If you need to see a doctor urgently on an evening or weekend when your student health centre is closed, you need to visit your local after-hours healthcare provider. Contact details for after-hours clinics near the Massey campus in each city are given below.

You will have to pay a consultation fee for an after-hours appointment. If you have a Community Services Card, take it with you to reduce the cost.

If it is an emergency, call 111 for an ambulance.

Information about health centres around New Zealand is also available on the Healthpoint website.
