Alice Tappenden MA
Senior Research Advisor
College of Creative ArtsAlice is a Senior Research Advisor and PhD student in Toi Rauwhārangi College of Creative Arts. Her current research is situated in the cultural and creative industries.
Most recently Alice contributed to the Manatū Taonga-funded research project, Measuring and Articulating the Value of Live Performance in Aotearoa. Her PhD research considers the impact of parenting on the careers of artists, filmmakers, and musicians in Aotearoa, and best-practice methodologies for working with research contributors. She has a background in Art History and Photography and her previous publications have focussed on the history and theory of photography and art in Aotearoa.
