Scott Wilson is a Senior Lecturer in The School of Music and Creative Media Production at Massey University . He is the author of The Politics of Insects: David Cronenberg’s Cinema of Confrontation (Bloomsbury, 2011) and has recently edited a volume on extreme and unpopular music, Music at the Extremes: Essays on Sounds Outside the Mainstream (McFarland, 2015). He is currently preparing a new monograph on landscape and cinema in Aotearoa.
